6AM to 10PM We’re a part of Saint Nicholas Park so Park hours are our hours.

  • It is park policy that dogs be leashed when not in the run.

  • Use of the dog run is at your own risk.

  • All dogs must be properly vaccinated and licenced with the city.

  • A MAXIMUM of three (3) dogs per person allowed.

  • You must pick up after your dog. Poop bags are provided. Leaving poop spreads disease.

  • Remove leash and prong collars before entering.

  • Monitor and control your dog at all times.
    Please inform The Dog Run of any incident/concern.

  • Monitor your dog around unneutered (male) dogs.

  • Dogs involved in a fight must be removed from the run.

  • Discourage excessive barking, especially in the early morning and late evening.

  • Children (under 13) must be accompanied by an adult. Please remember that not all dogs are child friendly and this space is for them.

  • Do not leave your dog unattended in the dog run or any area of the park.

  • Dogs in heat (female) are not allowed.

  • Do not leave toys inside.

  • Refill holes dug by your dog.

  • NO glass containers are allowed.

Reportable Offenses

  • Fights / harm involving humans IS a reportable offense

  • Someone training a dog to fight

  • Drunk / Unruly behavior

Fights between dogs are NOT reportable offenses.

If you find a lost dog

Contact us so we can post on our socials.

If the dog doesn’t have tags with contact information take the dog to a vet to be checked for a microchip.

Drop the dog off at a NO KILL shelter.

Bring it to the NYPD.
